original beamed ceilings and using antique terracotta
floor tiles. The house, approx. 200sqm large, consists
of two floors: GROUND FLOOR huge salon divided in
two rooms by an original 1800 arch and furnished
with sofas and some 'antiques'; living room with
sofas and fireplace; dining room with table and
seats for 8 persons; fabulous typical Tuscan kitchen;
storeroom; bathroom. FIRST FLOOR 2 double bedrooms;
2 single bedrooms; 1 bathroom.
The flat and very well kept garden surrounds
the house with olive and fruit trees. It is ideal
also for families with young children Beside the
main entrance there is a wisteria-covered pergola
area with tables and chair, perfect for 'al fresco'
meals, from where the guests can enjoy breathtaking
views over the countryside The house is equipped
with telephone, TV satellite, and ready for a
prompt connection to internet.
Just out of the door there are some wonderful
walk and opportunities for mountain biking and
trekking. Alternatively, the guests can just relax
on one of the 2 terraces at the house and enjoy
the beautiful surroundings, or walking through
the old medieval narrow stone-paved streets of
the close village, really experiencing the true
flavour of a small Tucson hamlet. There are wonderful
opportunities for sightseeing in this spectacular
region. A short drive will take to Pisa, Florence,
Volterra and all the most famous Tucson villages.
In the area there are several good 'trattoria'
and restaurants. Our Staff, a pro-Cook for exclusive
meals 'at home' and two girls for baby-sitter
service as well as a private chauffeur are available
on request. The closest shopping center is round
0,5 Kms, Lucca and Pisa 15 kms, the Beach 30 kms,
motorway entrance 8 Kms, Florence 60 kms
