This property enjoys a very private and superb location, just 5 minutes from the well-known and very charming small town of Lucca. The villa has been built in Tuscan style at the end of XIX Century, and very carefully and tastefully renovated in 1998. Inside there are original ?terracotta? tiled floors throughout and the ceiling area beamed in a very attractive effect. The interiors are light, airy and decorated and furnished to a very high standard, complemented by numerous antiques and paintings. A 'unique' 1800 stone-sculptured fireplace (see photo) refines the charm of the main salon.

The villa is set in a large mature garden. Including lavender, rosemary, sage, cypresses and olive trees A terrace, with covered eating area, stretches right along the front of the villa, and to one side of the house, there is a 'mansarda', with a further covered dining area with barbecue. Steps lead down from here to a lawned garden with flowers, shrubs and trees and to the lovely pool, just placed in a middle of a terraced garden, surrounded by olive trees. From the villa, its terraces and gardens there are spectacular and uninterrupted views over the town of Lucca and its glorious surroundings.

It is a suitable accommodation also for two groups Of friends (or relatives) that can share the villa in two completely independent parts, each with its own entrance.

Excursion to our own Winery in the Chianti area Producing excellent wines with visit to the vineyards, the wine cellar and final wine-tasting with the owners. Possibility of guided tour of the town of Lucca, its villas, and special tours in the countryside and also in the ' Cinque Terre'. Possibility to play golf in four courses at a distance of 25 up to 40 min. drive.
