Le Diacce is a large 18th century stone farmhouse and its outbuildings located in the heart of the Chianti region. The buildings were restored in the spring 2000. It is located about 3 ½ miles from Gaiole in Chianti and 6 miles from Radda in Chianti. Florence is 30 miles away and Siena is 22 miles away.

The property is set on top of a hill, the highest in the area, and provides a view of the surrounding hillsides covered with vineyards, olive groves and woods. Also in sight is the nearby village of Montegrossi, and the historic Rocca di Montegrossi ruins. Siena can be seen in the distance. Trees and a very well maintained garden area surround the buildings. There is a parking area for guests? cars.

These apartments are very well decorated with antique furniture. Each of them has a telephone and satellite TV, direct access to its own private terrace with a dining table. The two larger apartments are in the main farmhouse and can be connected upon request, which would accommodate 10 people together. The swimming pool is 20 by 40 feet in size.

Apartment for 6 (approximately 1800 square feet)
This apartment develops on two floors in the main farmhouse. On the ground floor there is a spacious living room with fireplace, a powder room and a large dining room connected by an archway to the fully equipped kitchen. On the first floor there are three double bedrooms (all of them can be made into a twin) and three bathrooms (one is ensuite with a bedroom and the others are close to the bedrooms). There is a private outside laundry room with washing machine for this apartment.

Apartment for 4 (approximately 900 square feet)
This apartment has a living room with open fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen/dining room and a powder room on the ground floor. There are 2 double bedrooms (which can be made into twins) and 2 bathrooms on the first floor. For an extra charge, this apartment can be rented with a small Dependence located 15 feet from the main farmhouse. The Dependence is about 180 square feet in size, and has a double bedroom (or twin) and bathroom. Laundry facilities are available inside the apartment.

Diaccino (approximately 810 square feet)
This independent house is about 75 feet from the main farmhouse, and develops on two floors. It has a large living room, fully equipped kitchen/dining room, and bathroom (with shower) on the ground floor. There is a double bedroom that can be made into a twin and a small bathroom (WC) on the top floor of the cottage. There are 2 single sofa beds in the living room on the ground floor, which can accommodate an additional two people. Laundry facilities are available inside the apartment.
