| Day 3 Oct.01 ISTANBUL |
 |
After
breakfast you will be taken to a guided city tour, where
you will experience the sound beauty, and history of Istanbul
formerly known as Constantinople.
This unusual city, the only one in the world to seats
astride two continents, Europe and Asia, was founded in
the 7th century BC as Byzantium. In the 4th century AD
the Roman Emperor Constantine the Great re-named it Constantinople.
The city remained the capital of the Byzantine Empire
until the Ottoman in the 15th century captured it and
named it Istanbul. The historic centre of Istanbul with
its ancient Roman ruins, is dominated by the Topkapi Sarayi
complex, started by the sultan Muhammad II in 1459 and
later added to by the sultans of the Ottoman Empire. Near
the palace, you can admire the Hagia Sophia built in the
6th century as an Orthodox Christian Church and later
converted into a mosque. You will see the Suleymanye Mosque
built for the Sultan Suleyman I, and many other wonders
that this city has to offer.

| Day 4 Oct.02 CANAKKALE
- IZMIR |

After
breakfast we will leave to visit Troy founded 3000 B.C.
the ancient city of Helen reminding us how it fell under
the deception of the Trojan Horse immortalized in Homer's
Iliad. Continue on to Assos, a commanding coastal site
with the temple of Athena. Later a visit to the ancient
acropolis of PERGAMON one of the site of the Seven Churches,
and one of the most outstanding ancient cities in Anatolia,
famous for its crowning Altar of Zeus and, while the the
superstructure has been removed to Berlin, the still spectacular
foundation stones of this enormous structure remains Pergmon's
theatre clinging to the side of the acropolis at a precipitous
angle, is one of the highlights of a visit. Will continue
on to visit THYATIRA, another site of The Seven Churches
of the Revelation. Asklepion the ancien hospital where
the ruins here are so complete that walking among them
one can relive the methods employed in this health centre
from sacrifice to psychodrama will be our next stop before
returning to the hotel, rest of time free.

IZMIR |
 |
Today
after breakfast will visit the modern town of Izmir
and SMYRNA, a site of the Seven Churches, before
taking an excursion to EPHESUS, yet another site
of one of the Seven Churches and one of the most
complete and substantial of Turkey's Greco-Roman
sites, its size and sophisticated design will astound
you. Near by we'll see the Basilica of St. John
the Evangelist, where he was buried. We will wonder
at the site of the Temple of Artemis ( one of the
wonder of the Ancient World, sadly destroyed), after
which we move on to Meryemana the reputed House
of Virgin Mary, mother of Jesus who died here.
Return to hotel in time for dinner and overnight

| Day 6 Oct 04 PAMUKKALE |
 |
Leave
after breakfast to visit SARDES another site of the Seven
Churches of the Revelation.
The isle holds extensive ruins including a third century
AD synagogue, travel on to another site, of the Churches
named PHILADELPHIA. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.

After
an early breakfast will visit Afrodisias , LAODICEA a
site of the Seven Churches
Return to Marmaris for dinner and overnight.

breakfast we will take a full day excursion to Rhodes
return in the evening to our hotel. Dinner and overnight

With
breakfast done, this morning we leave to go over
the Tourus Mountain on our drive to Antalya arriving
same day. Rest of time free.Dinner and overnight.

ANTALYA- PERGE |
 |
Today
after breakfast we will take an excursion to the
famous Aspendos theatre and Perge, where Paul and
Barnabas stopped on their way to and from Antioch.
(Acts 13:13 and acts 14:25). In Perge ancient buildings
have survived the ravages of times. Afternoon we'll
visit the Antalya Museum, Side and Alanya. Dinner
and overnight.

| Day 11 Oct.09 CAPPADOCIA |
 |
After
breakfast we will have a guided tour of this city where
troglodyte dwellings and several hundred churches are
hollowed out of the cones which are the remaints of an
ancient volcano. The frescoes in these churches depict
scenes from the Bible or the Apochryha and are amazingly
well preserved. Will visit Kaymakli, the underground city
which housed thousand of Christians who fled their prosecutors.
Dinner and overnight.

| Day 12 Oct. 10 CAPPADOCIA |

After
early breakfast a full day excursion of the city, visit
the unique Valley of Goreme and the open air Museum with
its well preserved churches. After that we will visit
the Valley of Zelve. Afternoon we will visit the fortress
of Uchisar that crowns the cliff and is dotted by caves.
Dinner and overnight.

CAPPADOCIA - ANKARA |

After
breakfast we leave for Ankara where on arrival will
visit Agzikarahan, and the Museum of Ancient Civilization.
Rest of day at leisure. Dinner and overnight.
